Brazilian GP - Massa fourth, Alonso fifth on a tricky wet track

Interlagos, 6 November – The third and final session of free practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix has just ended at the Interlagos circuit. The penultimate round of the Formula 1 World Championship takes place here in Sao Paolo on Sunday. At the end of the sixty minutes, with intermittent rain the main feature here since last night, Robert Kubica was fastest in the Renault (1.19.191,) ahead of Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull (1.19.500) and Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren (1.19.536.) First of the Ferraris was Felipe Massa, fourth in 1.19.735, one place ahead of the other F10 of Fernando Alonso (1.19.791.)

Both Ferrari men completed just nine laps. The track gradually dried out until by the mid point, the extreme wets could have been switched, but along with some other teams, they chose to save the intermediate tyres for this afternoon’s qualifying session.
