Maranello, 16 November - The motor sport DNA of the men and women in Maranello comes to the fore even when the going is not so smooth. Despite the disappointment remaining over the outcome of the F1 season, the entire company is back at work with even greater determination to achieve new motor sport and industrial objectives.

Luca di Montezemolo returned to his office from Abu Dhabi today. His first action was to personally thank those working for the Formula 1 team who didn’t go to the race. Just as he had congratulated their colleagues at the track, Montezemolo thanked them for all their work throughout the year, work which was fundamental in enabling the Scuderia to battle it out for the Championship to the end.

The 2010 season has now come to a close and the Chairman wanted an update from the technicians in Maranello on progress on the single-seater for 2011.

Montezemolo also held several meetings together with Ferrari CEO, Amedeo Felisa, regarding upcoming road cars Ferrari will be launching and examined plans for the upcoming opening in India. When imports start in 2011, this will become the 58th market where Ferrari has an official dealership, a number which has almost doubled in recent years considering that, in the mid-1990s, Ferrari had a commercial presence on about 30 markets worldwide.
