Liuzzi and Sutil expect driver announcement soon

Tonio Liuzzi and Adrian Sutil are both confident they will be racing for Force India in 2011 and insist they are now just waiting for official confirmation from the team.
In 2010 the pair delivered the best result in Force India's history and only missed out on sixth place in the constructors' championship by a single point to Williams. However, for several months there has been speculation that one or both will be replaced, with reserve driver Paul di Resta earmarked for a promotion, and Nick Heidfeld, Nico Hulkenberg and Karun Chandhok more tenuously linked.
Liuzzi has maintained that he has a contract with Force India, which the team would presumably have to buy him out of if it wanted to replace him, and recently told ESPNF1 that he is still confident nothing will change.
"I'm pretty confident everything is fine because they gave a signal that everything will stay the same," he said in his recent column. "But Formula One is a very particular business where sometimes you don't know until the last minute, but I have a contract and feel comfortable and I think everything should be set up soon."
When asked if he trusted team principal Vijay Mallya's word, he replied: "I think so, yes. We have a good relationship and he has always been very positive towards me. I don't feel like he wants to change things.
"Until there is an announcement from the team it is a bit of a headache for us [dealing with these questions], but that's all part of driving in Formula One."
Sutil, who had also been linked to Renault, is now focusing on extending his stay at Force India and confirmed recent quotes from his manager that a deal was close to being signed.
"It would be nice to move into a really top team, but right now there are no such opportunities," he told Bayerischen Fernsehen television. "So I'm very happy to stay with Force India for another season.
"I hope it happens in the next two weeks. It's a lot of fun to be with Force India, because we came from the back. Every year we improve, and 2010 was our most successful yet. We have to ensure that we maintain the trend, unlike at the end of this season where we got a bit lost."
