Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will not be testing Pirelli's 2011 tyres in Abu Dhabi late next week.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has already denied the decision is linked to rumours Webber is leaving the team and said was instead taken "six weeks ago".

Meanwhile, Button and Hamilton will hand the McLaren over to Gary Paffett and Oliver Turvey, who will also drive at the young driver test, for the two days of tyre evaluation.

"I wanted to do the test, but the team said 'really we don't think it's the right time for you to be testing the tyres because they're going to change a lot'," Jenson Button said on Thursday.

At Mercedes, Nico Rosberg will be sharing track time equally with his team-mate Michael Schumacher.

"It is an important test because there is a lot to learn in a short time," Rosberg is quoted in Abu Dhabi by Turun Sanomat. "The new tyres will have a different behaviour that must be learned, like braking points and perhaps a different driving style."
