A victory for research
Maranello, 20 December – Yesterday, the Adria circuit hosted the seventh “24 Ore per Telethon,” the usual motoring competition, part of the TV marathon organised by the RAI channel, aimed at collecting funds for research into muscular dystrophy and genetic illness. Thirty teams made up of six to eight drivers tackled an endurance race, which was reckoned to be one of the most spectacular ever seen on an Italian circuit. There were many stars from the world of show business, sport and politics, taking part in the race to support the initiative. One of them was Giancarlo Fisichella, who took to the track at the wheel of one of ten Fiat 500s, bearing the inscription, “5 Hundred Cup,” taking the class win and fourth place overall. Also in the crew captained by the Roman, who is the reserve driver for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, was Eugene Kaspersky from the eponymous sponsor of the team from Maranello.

Maranello, 20 dicembre – Presso l'autodromo di Adria è scesa in pista ieri la "24 Ore per Telethon", tradizionale competizione automobilistica da sette edizioni nella rosa di eventi della maratona televisiva, organizzata sulle reti Rai per raccogliere fondi destinati al finanziamento della lotta contro la distrofia muscolare e le malattie genetiche. Trenta team, composti da 6/8 piloti, si sono dati battaglia in una gara di durata definita tra le più spettacolari organizzate su circuiti automobilistici nazionali. Tra i volti noti provenienti dal mondo dello spettacolo, dello sport e della politica che, partecipando alla gara, hanno voluto dare il loro contributo alla raccolta, Giancarlo Fisichella è sceso in pista al volante di una delle dieci Fiat 500 iscritte alla “5Hundred Cup”, centrando la vittoria di classe ed il quarto posto assoluto. Nell'equipaggio capitanato dal pilota romano, terza guida della Scuderia Ferrari, anche Eugene Kaspersky, titolare dell’omonimo sponsor della squadra di Maranello.
