Sprint CFO Bob Brust to retire, Qwest exec will replace him

(Reuters) - Sprint Nextel Corp (S.N) Chief Financial Officer Bob Brust will retire and be replaced by Qwest Communications International Inc's (Q.N) CFO Joseph Euteneuer.

Brust, 67, will remain as CFO until Euteneuer joins the team. Euteneuer will join after CenturyLink completes its purchase of Qwest, the wireless phone company said on Tuesday.

Euteneuer is 55 years old.

Before working at Qwest, Euteneuer was CFO of XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc, a satellite radio provider. He has also held management positions at Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O) and its subsidiary, Broadnet Europe, Sprint said.
