Hyundai Curb Concept

It looks as though the Veloster won't be the only vehicle making an appearance on Hyundai's stand at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.
The Korean automaker recently confirmed a crossover concept, dubbed Curb, will make its first appearance in the Motor City.
Although we've seen precious little of this new crossover, the concept appears to be smaller than the company's existing compact crossover, the Tucson. The small stature, coupled with the aggressive exterior form and the flamboyant interior within, has us wondering if Hyundai's interested in going toe-to-toe with the Nissan Juke in the near future.
Designed by Hyundai's California Design Center (the Curb's formal name is, after all, HCD-12), the Curb is an evolution of the company's famed fluidic sculpture design language, and features deep scallops on the front doors that stretch to the tail of the vehicle. The steeply-raked windshield, low stance, and short overhangs lend the crossover a sporty interior.
Although the exterior seems potentially viable for production, the gadget-laden interior reminds audiences that this still is, in fact, a show car. We haven't seen any details on the Curb quite yet, but it appears to use a translucent, wrap-around instrument panel, with touchscreen control interfaces on the dashboard, door panels, and seatbacks.
