Black is back: Porsche 911 Black Edition
Porsche released today a special 911 Carrera, named Porsche 911 Black Edition. The model will be available in both body styles in a limited number of copies, only 1911 supercars will see the light of day since April.
Under the hood will be a 3.6 liter engine capable to develop 345 horsepower, enough to ensure a sportivity. The engine can be mated to a manual transmission with six reports or the already known dual-clutch automatic gearbox and seven-speed PDK.The body has, as expected, received a black color, similar to the leather upholstery inside. They could not miss 19-inch wheels, Turbo II, hiding in the same black calipers. Inside, the seats are clad in black, the wheel has been replaced by a sporty one, and aluminum trim complements found in the center console premium appearance. Porsche board changed and the background instruments, has introduced a series of logos to remember the Limited Edition of Porsche 911 Black and offered an all black folding roof.
The technology chapter, Porsche 911 Black Edition comes with an audio system that includes 13 speakers (12 on the convertible), a 385 Watt subwoofer, a multimedia system with PCM satellite navigation, cruise control and front and rear parking sensors.
List for Porsche 911 Black Edition includes optional Sport Chrono package, but also elements such as PASM active suspension, limited slip differential and carbon ceramic brakes.
