Maranello, 20 February - Third day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and the eleven other Formula 1 teams, working until tomorrow at the Montmelo circuit, outside Barcelona.

Felipe Massa was at the wheel of the Ferrari F150th Italia. In the morning, work was affected by the track conditions, as the surface was wet almost up to the lunch break. This meant the Brazilian driver was able to run fairly continuously on the Pirelli intermediate tyres. However he did have a couple of off-track excursions, although the car was undamaged. In the afternoon, on a completely dry track, Felipe concentrated on a race simulation, which was successfully completed. He drove a total of 123, with a best time of 1.26.508.

Testing at this track continues tomorrow, again with Felipe Massa at the wheel.

Maranello, 20 febbraio - Terza giornata di prove della Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro e delle altre undici squadre di Formula 1 impegnate anche oggi e fino a domani sul tracciato del Montmelò, vicino Barcellona.

Alla guida della Ferrari F150th Italia c’era Felipe Massa. La mattinata è stata caratterizzata dalle condizioni della pista, con asfalto bagnato praticamente fino alla pausa pranzo. Il pilota brasiliano ha così potuto provare con una certa continuità le gomme Pirelli intermedie, anche se è stato protagonista di un paio di uscite di pista, senza peraltro alcuna conseguenza per la vettura. Nel pomeriggio, con la pista completamente asciutta, Felipe si è dedicato ad una simulazione di gara, portata a termine con successo. I giri percorsi in totale sono stati 123, il più veloce nel tempo di 1.26.508.

Le prove su questo circuito proseguiranno anche domani, sempre con Felipe Massa in pista.
