Mercedes-Benz has brought two new stars at Geneva Motor Show 2011: the brand new C-Klasse Coupe and the new generation of the SLK, in a world premiere.
Mercedes C-Klasse Coupe is the first member of this body version of the C-Klasse range, after an unsuccessful attempt with already deceased CLC hatchback. Mercedes C-Klasse Coupe wants to be a new rival for BMW 3 Series and Audi A5, an receives the interior and engine from its sedan brother. The best engine offered is a V6 with 306 hp and 370 Nm enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The average consumption of that version is 7 liters per hundred kilometers.
New generation of Mercedes SLK has appeared alongside his younger brother in Geneva. With more than three weeks before its debut at Geneva, the model was already in Europe and have announced prices for all markets that will work. For those who have not yet heard, Mercedes SLK starts at 40,300 euros with VAT included in UK. SLK competes with BMW Z4 and Nissan 370Z.
