Happy Birthday Italy!
Maranello, 17 March - Today Is a special anniversary for Italy, as it celebrates the fact it has been in existence for 150 years, so it is a day on which all of us feel even prouder than ever to be Italian. Ferrari wished to pay a special tribute to this event, modifying the home page of the Prancing Horse’s website, (www.ferrari.com) by featuring a green FF, a white 458 and this year’s F1 race car, obviously in red, which combine to make a unique motoring version of the Italian flag. Furthermore the window display in the forty Ferrari Stores scattered around the world are decked out in the same colours of the flag.
“Representing Italy on the race tracks and the car markets around the world is a reason for all the men and women who work at Ferrari to feel proud,” said President Luca di Montezemolo. We chose to dedicate the name of our Formula 1 car, the 150° Italia to this anniversary and this makes all of us feel even more motivated as we go about our daily work. We hope that everyone in our country is living through today in the same spirit.”

Maranello, 17 marzo – E’ un anniversario particolare per l’Italia, che oggi compie 150 anni di vita: un giorno in cui noi tutti ci sentiamo ancora più orgogliosi di essere Italiani. La Ferrari ha voluto fare un omaggio speciale a questa ricorrenza, modificando la home page del sito del Cavallino Rampante (www.ferrari.com): una FF verde, una 458 bianca e la monoposto di F1 di quest’anno, ovviamente rossa, compongono un inedito Tricolore motoristico. Inoltre, le vetrine dei quaranta Ferrari Store sparsi in tutto il mondo saranno decorate con i colori della bandiera italiana.
“Rappresentare l’Italia sulle piste e sui mercati automobilistici di tutto il mondo è per tutti gli uomini e le donne che lavorano alla Ferrari un motivo di orgoglio” – ha detto il Presidente Luca di Montezemolo – “A questo anniversario abbiamo voluto dedicare il nome della nostra vettura di Formula 1, la 150° Italia, e ciò ci fa sentire tutti ancora più stimolati nel nostro lavoro quotidiano. Ci auguriamo che tutto il nostro Paese viva questa giornata con lo stesso spirito.”
