Timo Glock: 'I've lost two days of testing, which hurts' © Sutton Images
Timo Glock insists he will be fit and ready to race in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in a little over a fortnight.
After spending Thursday as a spectator at the Barcelona tests, Glock, who underwent an appendectomy less than two weeks ago, returned to Switzerland to have stitches removed.
"The wound has not completely healed," Glock said after walking gingerly round the paddock.
He added that he had started some light training on a bicycle, but quipped that "every grandma overtook me".
"At home the weather is so good but I can't do anything, so I came here as a distraction," he said before leaving Barcelona. "I've lost two days of testing, which hurts."
