(Reuters) - AT&T Inc struck a $39 billion deal to buy Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile USA on Sunday, which would create a new U.S. mobile market leader.

The deal should also drive huge fees to the investment banks and law firms that advised the companies on the acquisition.
