Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

With 4.8 seconds for 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is knocking on affirmation doors in its segment. The model is only 0.1 seconds slower than BMW X5M or Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

Jeep has officially introduced the new SRT8 generation version of the Grand Cherokee. We speak of a true sportive SUV, who manages to get close to 0.1 seconds by Porsche Cayenne Turbo and BMW X5M, but comes with a Hemi V8 engine of 6.4 liters with Fuel Saver Technology that delivers an estimated 465 horsepower and has aesthetic elements that highlights the sporty character for the American model.

Obviously, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 benefits from the contribution of a permanent four-wheel drive system, automatic gearbox available in the standard for the fastest Jeep ever built is providing 13% lower consumption on the highway than the previous generation version of the Grand Cherokee SRT8. More specifically, the 77-liter fuel tank of the American model has an extended range of approximately 725 km (450 miles) on one tank of gas.

Same as the “normal ” version of the Grand Cherokee SRT8 has the new Jeep Selec-Track system that interacts with several different systems so the driver can automatically tune the dynamics of the vehicle. Drivers can manually choose between five dynamic modes for specific driving conditions: Auto, Sport, Tow, Track and Snow.
