European KF3 Trophies – Stroll makes the cut
Maranello, 2 May – A positive weekend for Lance Stroll, the Canadian who drives for the Chiesa Corse karting team. He was in England for the European CIK-FIA karting qualifiers for the KF3 category. Thanks to an excellent performance at the Nottingham track, Stroll has qualified for the Finals of the European Championship, which takes place at Zuera in Spain, on 24 July. Luca Baldisserri, head of the FDA programme of which Stroll is a pupil, once again underlined how much progress the youngster is making in his first foray into European competition. “Lance achieved his objective, showing a great turn of speed and confirming he has what it takes to reproduce the excellent results obtained in Canada in 2010, despite the high level of competition to be found in the European series.”
