MILAN – This morning on his way into the Saras offices, president Massimo Moratti stopped to answer some questions from waiting journalists.
Read the president's complete interview here on inter.it:
Are you pleased that Inter, by winning at Cesena, have postponed AC Milan's Scudetto celebrations?
"No, Saturday's game was a great victory in itself. It was interesting, memorable and exciting. I can't say whether football is fair or unfair; all I know is the result went our way and that was great."
According to Moratti, do AC Milan deserve to win this title?
"Whoever wins the Scudetto always deserves it because they have played more consistently and played to the best of their ability throughout the season. The winner always deserves it."
After everything that happened in Spain have you been in touch with José Mourinho, to give him some encouragement, maybe?
"No, we haven't been in touch, however at the moment he's working to put things right."
Carlos Tevez has been here in Milan. Would you like to comment on this?
"I saw that on tv, but there no connection at all with us."
On the subject of the transfer market, is it likely that some Nerazzurri stars might be leaving or would Moratti like to keep them all?
"This comes up year after year. We have a strong team and it would be a pity to dismantle it so we'll do what's necessary to add youth to the squad."
