Fans defiant in defeat

United's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates has opened the door for Chelsea in the race for the Championship crown, but the Reds know the title is still in their hands.
Despite the loss to Arsene Wenger's side, supporters posting on Talking Reds were keen to focus on the positives and are confident United will get the result they need against Chelsea next Sunday and edge a step closer to a record 19th league title...
"Ramsey's goal was the only difference between the teams. Arsenal played well and we only looked threatening in parts. But we are still on top and we’ll be fired up for next Sunday’s match with Chelsea. It is imperative that we draw at least although a win would be much more welcome."

"If we can get a draw or a win against Chelsea then the title is ours. Our home form has been excellent this season - we haven’t lost a game at Old Trafford and I can definitely see us beating the Blues."

"Arsenal were the better team today - end of story. But it’s not all doom and gloom. The title will be ours if we can beat Chelsea at Old Trafford so lets be positive. If it is our destiny to win the title this season then it will happen."

"Sir Alex has a big selection decision to make for Wednesday’s match with Schalke. He needs to rest some players ahead of the Chelsea game, which will be a huge occasion. But I still maintain the key match with be Blackburn away. Hopefully the lads can get the points we need."

"Not starting with Berbatov was a mistake although I cannot blame Sir Alex for that. Hernandez has been excellent so he deserved his place, but the Mexican looked tired today. We must not forget that the title is still in our hands."
