Formula 1 inspired Batmobile for Batman Live
Creators of the new Batman Live show which will tour London and Europe have commissioned former-McLaren F1 designer, Gordon Murray, to design their new Batmobile.
The creator of the MP4/4, which went on to win 15 of the 16 races that season (1988) and has also worked on the McLaren F1 supercar, took inspiration from F1 to create the new stealthy looking, high-downforce vehicle for superhero character.
The car runs on Hydrogen through the use of an onboard fuel cell, an afterburner, lasers and virtual wheels.
It looks similar to that of Red Bull's X1 Prototype designed by Adrian Newey fro the GT5 Playstation 3 game - could these be F1 cars of the future?
