German GP - Fine tuning for qualifying

Nurburg, 23 July – Sebastian Vettel took his Red Bull to the top of the time sheet in the third and final free practice session for the German Grand Prix. At his home race, the German did a best lap of 1.30.916 around the Nurburgring, which hosts the tenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship, with team-mate Mark Webber second in 1.31.049. Fernando Alonso was the best placed Ferrari in third in 1.31.138, while in the other 150º Italia, Felipe Massa set the seventh best time of 1.32.144. Both Ferrari men ran the same programme, trying both the Medium and Soft compound tyres, while fine tuning the cars for qualifying which takes place at 2pm as usual.
