GP2 - A point for Bianchi

Hungaroring, 31 July – Jules Bianchi ended the GP2 sprint race in the points this morning at the Hungaroring, home to the seventh round of the season. The youngster who is part of the Scuderia Ferrari driver squad finished sixth in his Lotus Art car, in a race affected by intermittent rain, which naturally had an effect on the race outcome, with drivers having to switch from rain tyres to slicks and back again. Making the most of the unpredictable conditions was the winner Stefano Coletti of the Trident Racing team, who finished ahead of Bianchi’s team-mate, Esteban Gutierrez and series leader Romain Grosjean for DAMS.

The GP2 series now heads into a long summer break, resuming racing at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium over the weekend of 28 August.
