As the rain pelted down upon the Lotus Renault GP motorhome yesterday evening, Vitaly and Nick were about to face one of their biggest tests yet.
A 10-year-old schoolboy in the name of Sam Hawkins travelled all the way down from Yorkshire with his father, Simon, for exclusive interviews with both drivers!
As part of an article for his school magazine, Sam spoke to both drivers for 15 minutes, in which time he was able to obtain some excellent quotes that he could impress his school friends with.
As an aspiring, budding journalist, we think it could be a case of ’watch this space’ in years to come. It’s not a bad start for your portfolio, Sam!
