Italian GP - Final practice aimed at qualifying
Monza, 10 September – Sebastian Vettel was fastest in the third and final free practice session for the Italian Grand Prix on Saturday morning at the Monza circuit. The German Red Bull driver stopped the clocks in 1.23.170, ahead of team-mate Mark Webber (1.23.534.) Felipe Massa was third for Ferrari in 1.23.668, while in the other 150º Italia, Fernando Alonso finished eighth in 1.24.133. Both Ferrari men completed 14 laps, out on track with a slightly modified front wing, running first on the Medium tyres and then the Soft. Qualifying gets underway at 2pm to establish the grid for the thirteenth round of the championship.
