A last hi from Yeongam! It's still a bit hard for me to find the right words to express my excitement after today's result, but I'll try.
Today was simply perfect, from the moment we started to crossing the finish line – everything went exactly the way we wanted it.
I am incredibly proud that we were able to get the constructors' title and I'm sure it will be a hell of a party tonight. The boys and girls have worked really hard all year and they really deserved this victory. I'm proud of every one of them.
I think one of the most decisive moments in today's race was the overtake at the start. I was aware of the fact that the first turn wasn't far away, so I didn't push too hard.
Instead I tried to keep my cool and planned to attack at the second straight where I was able to gain a lot of speed because of the headwind. We didn't even need to use that much KERS and could save it for the straight before the fourth turn, where I gave everything I had and overtook Lewis (Hamilton). I almost didn't get the turn, but luckily I made it.
After that I focussed on putting the pedal to the metal and getting as much space between me and Lewis as possible. It wasn't always easy, especially in the first sector with the slipstream, but in the end we didn't only have a perfect gap, but also had a great day with the tyres.
I had to slow down a few times to make sure they don't get worn out so quickly, but the team kept me posted through all the race so I knew what to do. You see – everything was perfect.
Hopefully we’ll be able to keep this run of results going when we head to New Delhi for the Indian Grand Prix. We're all incredibly excited to go to India, see the track and race there for the first time. It will for sure be something really special.
But before India we'll celebrate our second title this year. I’m really looking forward to going home to Heppenheim for a few days, hopefully drive a few laps in our car and show the people how extremely grateful we are for their support.

Tagebuch
Servus! Es fällt mir noch ein bisschen schwer, auszudrücken wie glücklich ich bin.
Der Tag heute war einfach durchgehend perfekt, vom Anfang bis zum Ende und es macht mich unglaublich stolz, dass wir nun auch unseren zweiten Titel gesichert haben. Die Jungs und Mädels haben das ganze Jahr lang hart gearbeitet und haben sich den Konstrukteurstitel wahrlich verdient.
Sicher war das Überholmanöver gegen Lewis zu Beginn des Rennens eine der wichtigsten Szenen - Ich hab gewusst, dass es bis zur ersten Kurve nicht lange ist und wollte mir deshalb nicht gleich zuviel Druck machen. Ich konnte dann auf der zweiten Gerade gut aufschließen, weil man da aufgrund des Gegenwinds gar nicht so viel KERS braucht und hatte deswegen dann noch genügend übrig. Ich habe mir dann alles für die Gerade vor Kurve vier zurechtgelegt, bin dann nach Links und habe die Kurve dann gerade noch so gekriegt - aber es ist alles sehr fair abgelaufen und hat bestens geklappt.
Dann habe ich mich einfach nur mehr darauf konzentriert soweit wie möglich wegzukommen und so viel Abstand wie möglich herauszufahren, was besonders aufgrund des Windschattens im ersten Sektor dann doch etwas schwieriger war. Aber zum Glück hat nicht nur das Abstand halten am Aende gut geklappt, auch die Reifen waren heute Spitze. Sicher musste ich in entscheidenden Momenten manchmal etwas Speed rausnehmen um sie zu schonen, aber mein Team hat mich während des ganzen Rennens mit vielen Infos versorgt und darauf geachtet, dass ich immer voll im Bild bin. Und am Ende hat ja alles perfekt funktioniert.
Wir hoffen natürlich, dass es auch beim nächsten Grand Prix in Indien so weitergehen wird und wir freuen uns schon wirklich auf das Rennen dort. So ein erster Grand Prix auf einer neuen Strecke ist immer etwas ganz besonderes. Jetzt geht es aber erstmal zum Feiern mit dem Team und anschließend in die Heimat nach Heppenheim. Wenn dort das Wetter mitspielt werden wir ein paar Runden mit dem Auto drehen und den Leuten zeigen, wie wichtig uns ihre Unterstützung ist.
