While Sebastian's helmet was white for the Singapore night race, he will sport a black version of a similar design for this weekend's Abu Dhabi grand prix which starts on the verge of night, at twilight.
Black is the natural colour of the carbon shell of the Arai head-wear and this has remained the base colour of the design for two reasons:
Firstly, to highlight the glittering spectrum of colours that are swirled over the top as he races around the Yas Marina Circuit. These colours represent day-break till dusk.
And secondly, as a contrasting nod to the white that formed the base of his helmet in Singapore - the only other non-day race of the season.
So there you have it.
