Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 10, 2011 – The Mexican driver to Sauber F1 Team Sergio “Checo” Pérez is already in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina Circuit where the activities for the penultimate round of the F1 World Championship will take place.

Abu Dhabi, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, 10 de noviembre del 2011.- El piloto mexicano de Sauber F1 Team, Sergio “Checo” Pérez, se encuentra en Abu Dhabi, donde mañana inician las actividades de la penúltima fecha del Campeonato del Mundo de F1 y se dice más que listo para encarar la competencia en el circuito de Yas Marina.
Y en esta pista precisamente fue donde Checo tuvo su primer encuentro con un monoplaza de F1, por lo que comenta que le trae “muy buenos recuerdos” y todos satisfactorios, pues además ganó aquí la Feature Race de GP2 Series, curiosamente un 13 de noviembre del 2010, con una ventaja de más de 20 segundos sobre sus adversarios.
Asimismo, el piloto mexicano comenta que se encuentra contento y tranquilo de estar en Abu Dhabi, y precisa que no hay novedades en el auto. “De hecho, no tendremos modificaciones sino hasta el próximo año”, pero que ello no impedirá que sigan buscando ascender en la tabla de posiciones “y seguir peleando con Toro Rosso, con quien estamos empatados en puntos”.
Finalmente, Sergio Pérez, quien comanda el Sauber C30-Ferrari #17, señala enfático que “hay que encarar estas dos últimas carreras con todo el ánimo posible”. En tanto, el popular Checo se apresta para mañana viernes negociar las primeras prácticas libres del Gran Premio de Abu Dhabi.
