Wraptivo presented at SEMA Show 2010 its most eye-catching vinyl-wrapped works of art: the 2011 Honda CR-Z Type F and a 2010 Nissan GT-R.

Before receiving a makeover from the Wraptivo team, Honda CR-Z was a conventional hybrid. 2011 Honda CR-Z Type F is the first SEMA car produced by Wraptivo for this show. The purpose of the Wraptivo team, when customizing the Honda CR-Z, was to induce through their project the idea of fun in the minds of people, without forgetting to emphasize the Honda heritage of the CR-Z.

Honda CR-Z Type F is veiled in Wraptivo Matte Black and Carbon Black Film finished by gloss black accents. Wraptivo wished to create a sportier look for the vehicle, combining the Honda Accessories Aero pieces and aero parts from Rando Japan. However, the producers aimed to maintain, in the same time, the authenticity of the unmistakable Honda style.

From another point of view, the Honda CR-Z Type F can be considered a canvas, as Wraptivo wanted to emphasize the benefits of their new technology through which the customers will be able to protect the factory paint and also change the aesthetic of their car easily and in a short period of time. “We are giving consumers a new innovative way to change the personalities of their vehicles”, said Wraptivo Business Development Manager, RJ de Vera.

The 2011 Honda CR-Z is also equipped with new and improved LED daytime running lamps, Goodrich tires and Volk Racing wheels.

The interior of the Honda CR-Z Type F features Alcantara panels, Recaro sport bucket seats and a sport shift knob. Wraptivo chose for the interior colours that matched perfectly Honda’s CR-Z exterior look: hues of red, grey and black which generate the effect of a harmonious entirety.

2011 Honda CR-Z Type F it was not intended to be a looks car, even though its aesthetic allured many visitors at SEMA show 2010.

Wraptivo desired to increase the performance of the initial Honda model and for this reason, they equipped the vehicle with a revised Hondata ECU system, new exhausts and an additional supercharger system. Moreover, the 2011 Honda CR-Z is propelled by a 1.5 L i-VTEC which was paired with Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist hybrid system. The engine releases 120 horsepower and a maximum torque of 128 lb-ft.

The other gorgeous piece exposed by Wraptivo at SEMA Show 2010 was 2010 Nissan GT-R. For this customization, Wraptivo teamed with Ernie Manansala. As in the case of 2011 Honda CR-Z Type F, Nissan GT-R was wrapped in a matte black cloth, disrupted by glossy black accents. The body colour is contrasting with the matte red hue of the Advan rims and spacers from the crew at Fatlace. In addition, the wheels were pushed as far out as possible, creating an aggressive look for the customized car.

Wraptivo and Ernie Mansala desired to recreate a bolder and more domineering image for 2010 Nissan GT-R super car and our conclusion is that they managed to do so in all aspects especially for the SEMA Show 2010.
