2011 form impossible to predict - Newey
Red Bull's chief technical officer Adrian Newey believes it is impossible to predict the form in 2011, despite having produced the quickest car during the past two seasons.
The designer admitted the grid could quite easily change next season as has been seen in the past but, he added that was part of the beauty of the sport.
"I think it is impossible to forecast [the form in 2011]," he told Autosport.
"The truth is - and that is the great thing about motor racing - that things can change very quickly as we all know. If other people do a better job than we do over the winter then it will change."
When asked if producing the quickest car in 2009 and 2010 meant 2011's car would be just as competitive, he replied: "In itself no, I don't think it does - apart from the confidence.
"But hopefully what it does mean though is that we are starting to understand the process of how you go about designing a decent car and if we can do that, and continue to be creative, then we can come up with a decent car."
