ToyotaHilux has received a Facelift along with the 2012 generation. The new Toyota Hilux Facelifthas a modern interior, more economical engines and will be offered in Europe from September.

2012 pickup truck generation Toyota Hilux received a new interior designed that offer to passengers a higher level of comfort. The exterior has also been restyled, Toyota Hilux Facelift having now a more sophisticated look, however preserving the qualities of a 4×4.
Toyota released a version with lower emission for the D-4D 2.5-liter engine, designed to provide significant fuel savings. Toyota Hilux pickup truck is also the leader of its segment in terms of sales in Europe, accounting for 25% share in the segment with 21,866 units sold in 2010. With these results, Hilux is the best-selling model in the segment for the third consecutive year.
Toyota Hilux Facelift is offered in three body styles – simple cab, double cab and extended cab. Customers are provided with two D-4D engines, with manual or automatic transmission and traction on two or four wheels, the latter having both a reducer and a decoupling of the four-wheel drive. Both engines comply with Euro 5 and are more efficient than the units they replace, being equipped with particulate filter as standard.
In order to distinguish the recreational vehicles from work vehicles, Toyota made available four equipment levels, the cheapest being for those who need Hilux‘s strength, while the top is for those who want an off-road recreational vehicle with special capabilities.
The new Hilux has a dashboard with a new design that integrates a 6.1-inch multimedia screen featuring Toyota Touch system. Perceived quality was significantly improved and the model’s appearance has a touch of elegance unprecedented for Hilux.
Toyota customers in Europe can order this model from September. Production is provided by Toyota factories in Thailand and South Africa. Toyota Hilux Facelift price has not been revealed so far.
