GP2 – Bianchi ends the Silverstone weekend with more points
Silverstone, 10 July – Jules Bianchi finished the GP2 sprint race with two more points this morning at Silverstone, come the end of the second race of this fifth round of the season. Having started eighth, as the top eight on the grid are reversed from the result of the Friday race, which he won, the Ferrari Driver Academy youngster, made up three places to come home fifth. The winner was series leader Romain Grosjean (Dams) who was joined on the podium by second placed Dani Clos (Racing Engineering) and Giedo Van der Garde (Barwa Addax Team) in third.
Bianchi, whose other duties include working on car development for the Ferrari Formula 1 team, will be back in action for the next round over the weekend of 24 July at Germany’s Nurburgring.
