Paul Monaghan, our Head of Car Engineering, gave a lecture yesterday to more than 600 students in the technical studies auditorium at the University of Stuttgart in Germany.
The lecture covered an explanation of the aerodynamics of the car and explored the elements which need to be considered when designing and building a race-winning machine.
The reaction from the engineering students was positive – a lively discussion finished with a Q&A session spanning 45 minutes of technical debate.
If you look at the photo, perhaps it’s understandable why Paul’s slicker-than-your-average visual aid didn’t go down too badly either…
