In addition to AC-X and Small EV, Honda comes at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011 with an even smaller concept called Honda Micro Commuter Concept.
Honda Micro Commuter Concept is a small electric concept (obviously) that the Japanese manufacturer will be presenting at the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show. The model will share the Honda stand with AC-X and Small EV concepts.
Unlike the other two concepts, there is little information about Honda Micro Commuter Concept, the Japanese release includes only a brief description of the model. This electric concept is seen by Honda as a possibility for 2020.

“A city electric model, futuristic, small, that will become a very accessible form of mobility for most of the people. Honda Micro Commuter Concept will provide a new type of communication between people and a new level of mobility. However, the exterior can be customized with ease. The collaboration between the Honda Motorcycle Center and Automotive Development Centers made ??possible the realization of this concept, using MOTOR COMPO propulsion system…” said the Honda officials.
Honda Micro Commuter Concept has an adjustable rear diffuser and a special floor that extends at high speeds to improve the aerodynamic coefficient. The wheels are covered with a special set of wings, inspired from motorsport.
The steering wheel is replaced by a futuristic joystick inspired from the aviation world, handled by moving forward and back and not by rotation. Honda said the technology is intuitive and that the feeling is similar to handling a bicycle.
