Hyundai prepares the official launch of the facelift operated on Genesis with a new set of pictures published on the official website of the manufacturer – Hyundai Genesis pictures.
On the Korean manufacturer’s Facebook page today were published three new Hyundai Genesis pictures. The Asians coupe Hyundai Genesis facelift will make its debut live at the Detroit Motor Show, held from January 9 to 22, 2012.

The Hyundai Genesis pictures capture the frontal appearance and its sporty profile. Among them is a picture published last week, of which Hyundai America said that it’s fake.
In addition to the new headlights, the front side receives a new hexagonal grille, Hyundai -specific, and daytime LED lights. The influence of the younger brother Hyundai Veloster is visible and enhance the aggressive appearance of Hyundai Genesis facelift.
Hyundai Genesis Engine
Currently there are no official information about what we might find under the hood. Most likely, the future of Hyundai Genesis will be powered by the petrol engines of 2.0 liter and 3.8 liter V6.
It is very likely to meet the 3.8-liter V6 engine upgraded to 333 horsepower, which would place Hyundai Genesis in the same segment with Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37.
There is the possibility of a V8 engine, most likely only for the U.S. market, that could be associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
