150,000 spectators for Webber's Thai run

Mark Webber put his Formula One car through its paces in a special demonstration run in Bangkok over the weekend.

The Red Bull driver, who finished third in this year's Drivers' Championship, losing the title in the final race to his team-mate Sebastian Vettel, was in Thailand as part of the Thai King's 84th birthday celebrations.

Webber had the honour of meeting King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Friday before getting behind the wheel of his Red Bull racer on Saturday.

150,000 spectators lined the streets as the Aussie put on a show on the city's Rajdamnoen Avenue.

The event was just the latest in Red Bull's post-season demonstrations with the team having already visited both Webber and Vettel's home countries, Australia and Germany.
