Minor injury sidelines Alonso
Fernando Alonso was forced to sit out Ferrari's skiing outing in Italy on Wednesday due to a minor muscle tear.
While his team-mate Felipe Massa took to the slopes of the Dolomites in Ferrari's annual Wroom media event, Alonso did little more than pose for photographers as he awaits his turn to face the media.
According to the Spanish press, the double World Champion, who finished second in last year's Drivers' Championship, is nursing a minor muscle tear and was told by doctors to stay away from the slopes.
"It will take a week of sitting on the couch," Alonso told La Nueva Espana when asked about his injury.
