Senna admits chances of 2011 seat are fading

Bruno Senna has admitted his chances of securing a drive for the 2011 season are fading fast after HRT team principal, Colin Kolles, admitted the Brazilian wouldn't be driving for them.

Kolles told the Reuters news agency that Senna would '100%' not be racing for the Spanish outfit in 2011. This comes the same day he confirmed that Narain Karthikeyan would join the team.

"I can definitely say that Mr Bruno Senna is not going to race for HRT," said Kolles on Friday. "One hundred percent not."

Senna responded to the comments, admitting the situation he finds himself in is difficult. He blamed the various issues during 2010 which meant he couldn't prove his talent in the car.

"The situation is a bit difficult in F1 right now... I didn't really have the opportunity to show what I could do last year because of various problems and that didn't help me for this season.

"We are in talks for the few opportunities that are still open but I can't say it's very easy at the moment. Even Nico [Hulkenberg] is struggling to find a competitive seat.

"We may see some talents wasted because of the current situation. I hope I can take any opportunities that are available... you never know," he added.
