Costa: Unacceptable threshold
Ferrari's technical chief Aldo Costa fears F1 has gone a step too far, making life too difficult for its drivers.
This year's Championship will see the return of KERS to Formula One while moveable rear wings have also been introduced.
Both these devices will be activated by the drivers, however, it means more buttons on an already packed steering wheel.
And Costa fears it has become too much for the drivers, prompting F1's Technical Working Group to look into the matter.
"We have reached an unacceptable threshold," he told Autosport.
"We are discussing it in the TWG, and evaluating that aspect by means of simulator.
"We are considering whether drivers can physically manage all these components, and it is a bit of an extreme situation."
