Geneva 2011 Live: Fiat 500 Coupe by Zagato

Fiat had another debuted at Geneva Motor Show 2011 today: Fiat 500 Coupe by Zagato. Fiat 500 has reached in the hands of designers at Zagato and received a more aggressive look, along with a TwinAir engine with 105 hp and 155 Nm.


Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato presents a classic architecture 2 +2 seating and keep dimensions of the compact hatchback that is based on. The main change is in the roof line, which is more inclined than the standard Fiat 500. Emblem of the classic Zagato, the so-called “double hump” appears on the ceiling of Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato, which will lead pilots providing enough space for their helmets.






The new Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato has a length of 355 cm, a width of 163 centimeters and a height of 149 centimeters. The wheelbase is 230 cm to this model. Under the hood, it has a TwinAir 105 hp engine for compliance with the Italian manufacturer’s philosophy of downsizing. The new TwinAir engine from Fiat Powertrain Technologies makes its debut on this model and its makers say is ideal for sports models.

The engine delivers a maximum torque of 155 Nm at 2,500 rpm and provides a maximum power of 105 hp at 5,500 rpm. The engine power is a champion in liters, with a ratio of 124 hp per liter. CO2 emissions to a level unmatched in this category – 95 grams per kilometer. Fiat has not yet announced when it will introduce this model into production, but the appearance of the exhibit in Geneva is very close to the version number.
