Metropolis Concept as the center of Citroen stand. The beautiful Citroen Metropolis Concept came from Beijing to Geneva Motor Show 2011 to get the journalists attention at the Salon. It succeeded.
After Citroen presented at the last biggest auto shows two or three interesting concepts, the Citroen Metropolis prototype – brought to Geneva after being released earlier in Beijing – came to the show to keep the French manufacturer’s line. And its spectacular lines have succeeded, indeed, to attract journalists to the Citroen stand.
Citroen Metropolis Concept is based on the same platform as the Citroen C6. It has a length of 5.3 meters, but the reduced height of this concept provides an extremely aggressive held. Citroen Metropolis has a hybrid propulsion and it’s provided by a V6 engine of 272 hp and 375 Nm, assisted by an electric motor that can provide up to 95 hp. According to international media voices, Citroen Metropolis Concept could form the basis for future DS9, one of the sports car from Citroen.
