TAT ROME LEADS THAI DELEGATION TO 2011 BIT MILAN TRAVEL TRADE SHOW
Mr Manit Boonchim, Executive Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East Region for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Ms Viyada Srirangkul, Director of TAT’s Rome office lead a delegation of nine tourism operators from Thailand to the Borsa Internazionale Tourismo – BIT 2011 hosted in Milan, Italy, February 17 – 20, 2011.
In addition to the Buyer-Meet-Seller table top discussions, TAT Rome organized a colourful programme of activities that included the ever popular live demonstration of traditional Thai massage and dainty parasol painting, all of which never fail to attract interest.Visitors were also invited to join TAT Rome’s Facebook page and were provided with updated information on Destination Thailand and the diverse range of travel and tourism products and services on offer.
His Excellency Mr Somsakdi Suriyawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to Rome, and spouse, stopped by the Thailand booth at BIT 2011 to greet visitors and witness the various promotional activities.
