Kimi Raikkonen makes his second appearance on the Jordan Rally in his Ice 1 Racing Citroen.

Dennis Kuipers will be at the wheel of his FERM Power Tools World Rally Team Fiesta. However, with Frederic Miclotte contesting a clashing rally in the Canary Islands, Belgian Bjorn Degandt has been drafted in to deputise.

Khalid Al Qassimi is the leading Middle East driver in his Team Abu Dhabi Fiesta.

Petter Solberg is entered in his Petter Solberg World Rally Team DS3, while Dutchman Peter van Merksteijn Jr starts his second event in his similar semi-works machine.

Brazil World Rally Team’s Daniel Oliveira will drive the Super 2000-specification MINI John Cooper Works as the all-new car’s development continues apace.

The Super 2000 World Rally Championship division has attracted eight entries, including guest driver, the Jordanian Ammar Hijazi in a Skoda Fabia Super 2000.

Other SWRC entrants include Fiesta S2000 drivers Nasser Al-Attiyah and Bernardo Sousa plus series’ newcomer Frigyes Turan from Hungary.

Class regulars Eyvind Brynildsen and Albert Llovera make their first starts of their season in their Fabia and Abarth Grande Punto S2000 respectively.

Teenager Karl Kruuda will continue in his ME3 Rally Team Fabia, while there is a category debut for German Hermann Gassner Jr in a Red Bull Skoda-entered Fabia.

Other names of note appearing on the entry list are Cypriot Spyros Pavlides, who has a wealth of experience competing on Middle East events, Lebanese veteran Michael Saleh and Jordanian lady driver Nancy Al-Majali.
