Ever wanted to know what world champions do when they're not going flat-out on the stages of the WRC?
Well Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena flew to the 14th Shanghai Automobile Show directly from last week’s Jordan Rally to attend the unveiling of the Citroen DS5 road car in the company of Citroen’s managing director Frederic Banzet.
During their whistle-stop tour, the seven-time title winners took part in several interview and autograph signing sessions before catching a flight back to Europe on Tuesday night ready to begin their preparations for round four of the 13-event WRC season, Rally d’Italia Sardegna from 5-8 May.
After three rounds, Loeb and Elena top the drivers’ and co-drivers’ standings respectively, while Citroen has moved equal on points with Ford at the top of the manufacturers’ table.
