Ferrari Challenge North America season gets underway
Maranello, 27 April – This weekend, the Infineon Raceway, in Sonoma, California sees the North American Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli back in action for the start of its eighteenth season. Awaited with eager anticipation as the Stars and Stripes series gets underway, is the arrival of the new 458 Challenge, the fifth sports car Ferrari has used in its one-make series. The opening round kicks off tomorrow with the first free practice sessions, as well as some track sessions for cars in the non-race programmes run by Maranello’s Corse Clienti Department, featuring four F1 Clienti cars, three Ferrari FXX and no less than seven 599XX, all alongside the F430 Challenge and the new 458 Challenge cars, which will tackle two races this weekend.

Maranello, 27 aprile – Nel fine settimana presso l’Infineon Raceway di Sonoma, in California, torna in scena la serie nordamericana del Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, giunta quest’anno alla sua diciottesima edizione. C’è aria di grande attesa sul tracciato californiano per il debutto nel girone a stelle e strisce della nuova 458 Challenge, quinta berlinetta dedicata dalla Ferrari al suo monomarca. Nell’occasione della tappa inaugurale, l’appuntamento accoglierà all’interno del suo intenso programma, al via domani con i primi turni di prove libere, alcune sessioni riservate alle vetture iscritte ai programmi non competitivi gestiti dal Dipartimento Corse Clienti di Maranello. Accanto alle F430 Challenge ed alle nuove 458 Challenge iscritte ad un doppio turno di competizioni, a scendere in pista saranno infatti quattro F1 Clienti, tre Ferrari FXX e ben sette 599XX.
