Pole position for Mugelli-Palma (GTS2) at Valencia. Cadei-Mancini fastest in GTS3
Valencia, 7 May – Along with the European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit at Valencia has also hosted the second round of the GT Sprint International Series, with Max Mugelli and Andrea Palma taking a thrilling pole in today’s qualifying session, all the more noteworthy given the fact the track was wet. At the wheel of the Vittoria Competizioni F430 GT2, the duo set a fastest time of 1.54.464 beating the sister car of Giacomo Barri (1.54.823) by just 359 thousandths. Also at the front end of the grid in third place, the Ferrari 458 GT3 of Niki Cadei and Fabio Mancini (AF Corse) who are thus first in the GTS3 class.
Tomorrow, the two 25 minute races start at 10.35 and 17.45.
