Official: Renault Koleos Facelift
Renault has released the first official Photos for the Koleos Facelift and announced the engines information.
First official pictures with Renault Koleos Facelift were presented today. This is the second facelift which the SUV from Renault receives, but the aesthetic changes are more obvious this time. More specifically at the new Renault Koleos Facelift, the front grille has a new form, inspired by that of Latitude and the famous shape on which the Renault logo stood is gone in favor of a traditional front grille.
The optical blocks dropped the accents of blue and became more rounded, reminding those present on Nissan Qashqai, the compact crossover from the alliance colleagues. Front bumper has also been restyled, while the front wings have a different form to adapt to the new optical blocks. The rear is not changed compared to the current Renault Koleos generation, while the interior also receives small changes.
CO2 emissions have been significantly reduced for the new Renault Koleos, the less polluting version – 4×2 dCi 150 emitting only 148 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Depending on the market, customers can order Renault Koleos Facelift with a 150 hp or 175 hp diesel engines, or even a 170 hp petrol engine. Renault engineers have worked on transmission and engines, all versions showing a low fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions. Renault is pride by the Koleos increased sales – 65% in first four months of the market in Europe compared to the same period of 2010.
Most likely, the new Renault Koleos Facelift will debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show, which will take place in September. Koleos Facelift is expected to be on auto markets starting this autumn. Production is provided by Renault Samsung Motors plant in Busan, South Korea, acclaimed for the quality manufacture of the models they assemble. The first pictures of the new Koleos Facelift were published yesterday, following their unexpected appearance at a conference in India.
