Officials from the British brand McLaren presented a series of new pictures with GT3 version of the supercar MP4-12C.
In April, the British manufacturer McLaren officials have presented the first image of the MP4-12C GT3 sports derivative, developed to compete in competitions organized by the FIA. This time, the British come up with some new pictures taken on the circuit with extreme version of McLaren MP4-12C.
More than that, the McLaren officials announced that the first public test for MP4-12C GT3 will be conducted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed , held these days in the UK. To survive on the circuit, the extreme version of McLaren MP4-12C received an aerodynamic kit made of carbon fiber, including a front splitter, rear spoiler and rear diffuser, door frames and front bumpers.
Furthermore, after the test made by Andrew Kirkaldy, Alvaro Parente and Oliver Turvey, the McLaren British engineers mounted a new radiator which is designed to extend the temperature range optimal for the engine, cooling system and a new gearbox.. Testing and improving performance will continue throughout this year, followed that in 2012, the British brand will deliver 20 copies of McLaren MP4-12C GT3 to the private teams that will participate in FIA competitions.
