Ferrari Challenge returns to Misano
Maranello, 5 July – The Misano Adriatico circuit, near Rimini will this weekend host the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli after a three year break. Competitors in the Italian series will be tackling the third round of their season on this technical track, made even more challenging by the hear that can be expected to make the drivers’ task even more difficult.
Friday at Misano is given over to the first free practice sessions, while Saturday features qualifying at 10.50 and the second run at 15.30, to decide the grid for Sunday’s two races. They start at 10.35 and 14.25.
Going into this weekend, the Trofeo Pirelli classification sees Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa) leading, while Andrea Belluzzi (Motor/Modena) and Benedetto Marti (Motor/Piacenza) head the categories for the F430 Challenge runners and those in the Coppa Shell.
