Jaime Alguersuari has ended the first day of the Belgium GP on high spirits: "I am happy because we have been able to run under all conditions and using each one of the available tire compounds (except the soft rubber), accumulating a valuable information. On the one hand on dry track, weather that we expect for race day; on the other, we have run on a wet track, the conditions we expect for tomorrow".
Regarding qualifying, Jaime hopes to improve: "The rain makes everything unpredictable, but we made a step forward with the car. I hope to reach a better position than in recent races, but we must wait for the session to evaluate the plus given by the modifications introduced in the car".
Jaime Alguersuari judges these new parts (a new exhaust and a revised rear wing) as a key point, especially the second one: "The DRS is essential here, because there are many straights. If it does not rain, it might give us the extra kph that would allow us to be ahead, a key condition to score points on Sunday".
