The famous National Geographic show is going home to Aston Martin to see how the One-77 model is manufactured.
The latest episode of the Mega Factories show on National Geographic details the production of Aston Martin One-77. The producers visited the Aston Martin factory in Gaydon, Warwickshire to realize this impressive episode. Broadcasting will take place today, September 4, in the UK. Mega Factories premiered in 2007 and managed to get in many impressive factories to present us the production process. There were episodes about the Audi R8, Bentley Mulsanne, BMW Z4, Koenigsegg Agera R, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Volt, Lamborghini Murcielago SV, Mercedes-Benz SLS, Porsche 911 GT3, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper, Harley-Davidson V-Rod, Apache helicopter, Budweiser beer, Coca-Cola or IKEA.
We remind you that Aston Martin One-77 has a 7.3 liter V12 engine that develops 740 horsepower and 750 Nm. The most interesting aspect however is that the British model will be produced in just 77 copies, which will turn it into a museum piece as soon as the orders already registered by Aston Martin will be honored. Moreover, the manufacturer from Gaydon found customer for all 77 units that will be produced, even though the official price of purchase for Aston Martin One-77 is 1.4 million Euros (~£ 1.2 million).
