Christian Horner says that Sebastian Vettel will not be conservative in his approach when looking to seal the world championship.

Vettel can wrap up the title with victory in Singapore, but with just six races remaining and a 112-point lead over Fernando Alonso it is simply a matter of time before he becomes a back-to-back world champion. Horner, however, told The Times that Vettel will be going all out for victory in every race, because easing off could lead to errors.

"It's not in his psyche to back off," Horner said. "When you do, that's when you start to make mistakes, so his approach will be to go into the weekend trying to win. If it's second, third or fourth, we will take that, but we are going into every race trying to get maximum points."

Vettel's dominance of the championship in 2011 has been clear to see, and Horner admits he has been impressed with the way he has kicked on since winning the last season's title.

"Sebastian has evolved as a driver and young man. We forget he is 24 and how relatively few grands prix he has driven. But he has come into this year with a lot more experience, learning a lot from last year's campaign.

"Defending the championship is that much harder. It is one thing getting there, it is another thing staying there. But Sebastian's learnt a lot from last year's campaign. From what I have seen, he has moved up a gear."

Horner also said that he feels the last two seasons have seen Red Bull earn respect alongside Ferrari and McLaren, despite only having been in the sport since 2005.

"We don't have the history of Ferrari because we have only been around for six and a half years, but it comes down to what you do on the circuit, and you are only as good as your last race. You have to earn respect. In a short space of time we have won 23 grands prix, had 33 poles and we have won two World Championships, so we have earned respect in the pitlane. It would be arrogant to say we will dominate. We have our targets and goals."
