Sergio Pérez awarded “Confartigianato Motori” in Monza

Sergio “Checo” Pérez has been awarded a “Confartigianato Motori” Prize at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza this weekend, an honor which has been bestowed on many illustrious names as Schumacher, Prost, Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel among others over the past 21 years.

The “Confartigianato Motori” Prize Awards, on the occasion of the Italian Grand Prix, are presented every year according to the voting of authoritative judges in recognition of Formula One driver talent in various categories.

This time the young talent has been awarded to Sergio Pérez, who takes part now of a list with famous motorsports celebrities, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Alain Prost, Mika Häkkinen, among others.

“To receive such award as the “Confartigianato Motori” makes me feel proud and motivated to grow more in F1; I am flattered in receiving this award and more knowing from whom it comes from, people that love motorsports as much as I do. Needless to say this engages me to continue working day by day.” Explained Sergio Pérez after receiving the award.
